Job Title: Manager, Compliance and Internal Audits & Control
Location: Florence, SC
Division: Risk Management
Position Summary: Assists in managing the day to day functions of the Bank's compliance program, including drafting and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, performing ongoing monitoring of compliance with consumer laws and regulations and the Bank's policy and procedures, providing compliance support for implementation of product/system enhancements, and provide training to bank personnel. Also, work on long-term projects to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance Monitoring & Control Management
- Responsible to administer an effective, risk-based compliance monitoring program to ensure compliance monitoring program to ensure compliance with the following areas SARs, BSA, CRA and all financial regulatory laws.
- Identify and document compliance gaps and ensure completion of correction action through
- a) Assessment of emerging issues or potential liabilities
- b) Maintenance of compliance monitoring schedule
- c) Policy, procedure and disclosure review
- d) Transaction testing
- e) Planning, identification of training requirements by role and assist with deliver were required.
- f) Identify specific branch administration responsibilities which need to be carried out by Service Managers, Regional President's and Process Managers.
- g) Provide detailed management reporting
- h) As part of BSA responsibilities is the SARs coordinator
2. Manages Internal Self Audit Programs
- Coordinates and monitors all self audits completed as it relates to compliance and internal audit.
- Insures branch security audits are regularly performed, reported on and resolved.
- Maintains documentation for auditors
- Provides regular reporting for managers to make informed and timely business decisions.
3. Subject matter expert on product and program and marketing disclosure and laws
- Compliance representative on product and pricing project teams and committees
- Approves all written guidelines for all product and marketing disclosures to comply with laws and regulations

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a concentration in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- 1-3 years experience in regulatory compliance of banking laws and regulations is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Understanding of the banking environment with the ability to interpret regulations and laws as they pertain to the banking environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PC software and applications.
