Responsibilities
As Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and People Management Mrs. Anderson's responsibilities include developing and implementing customer experience and people strategies which enable First Reliance Bank to achieve business success and carry out our purpose of making a difference in the lives of every person we touch. Mrs. Anderson is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience which includes company strategic planning, customer segmentation management, marketing, program development, management of deposit products, our convenient suite of services, public relations and customer communications. She is also responsible for all aspects of human capital management practices and policies which include talent management, total rewards, organizational design, learning, leadership development, workplace diversity, HR transactional service and associate HR advisory services.
Experience
Mrs. Anderson has 8 years experience in the US retail banking industry. Prior to relocating to the US she worked for 25 years with the Royal Bank of Canada a premier global financial institution.
During her tenure at Royal Bank, she held several senior management and executive positions in sales, human resources, information technology, quality service, and strategy. In 2001, she transferred to North Carolina to lead the Human Resources Team for the US Retail Banking subsidiary as Vice President of Human Resources. In her last assignment with RBC US as Vice President Strategic Integration she was responsible for companywide project management integration of bank acquisitions.
Prior to joining First Reliance Bank, Mrs. Anderson was a Human Resource Consultant providing a variety of human resource services to small and medium sized companies.
Mrs. Anderson joined First Reliance Bank as Senior Vice President, People Management in June 2006 and in October of 2008 assumed responsibility for the Customer Experience team.
Memberships
Currently, a member of the Human Resource Committee of the South Carolina Bankers Association.
Previous community involvement included membership on the Conference Board of Canada's Business and Education Forum on Science, Technology, and Mathematics for six years. Member of Board of Governors for Lakehead University, Canada. Board member of Non for Profit organizations; Actua, Canada and Futures for Kids, North Carolina.
